I'm back!
At my craft desk for the first time in four and a half years!! A bit rusty, but I'm hoping that will pass. Unfortunately, my Cards by Sashika Website is no longer active (sorry Richard!), but I will be re-starting the Cards by Sashika Facebook Page and Blog. Hope to see you back here soon x

Hi all. Just finished this card and I wanted to share it because I really like the way the Fairy wings turned out. The image is a digi-stamp from Fred She Said, and I covered the wings with Stickles Icicle.
I am entering this card in to the following challenges:

Some more Mother's Day Cards
Hi! Just a quick post to share a couple more Mother's Day Cards I made yesterday. I originally designed and made these back in 2012, but I hadn't run out of any of the ingredients so I made some more for this year. Hope you like them x
See you back here soon x

Wet adhesive for the first time!
When it comes to adhesives, I am a big fan of DST, foam squares and glue dots. I've always shied away from the wet versions in order to avoid sticky fingerprints, warping and overall messiness. (Yes, I'm a bit of a perfectionist!)
As a result, I've always struggled when it comes to sticking down tiny pieces, or really thin pieces, because there really is a limit to how small you can cut those foam squares! So I took the plunge and I got myself a bottle of Glossy Accents- and WOW! I've been missing out! The possibilities are endless...
Having used Glossy Accents, this tiny thin frame isn't going anywhere!
So there's my discovery for today! Yes, I'm sure you can tell I'm very new to this!
Well, I thought I'd enter this card in to the following challenges:
Papertake Weekly buttons or bling
Retro Sketches number 51
Allsorts Challenge things with wings
Simply Create Too mother's day
Thanks for stopping by!
Sashika x
