Some more Mother's Day Cards

Hi! Just a quick post to share a couple more Mother's Day Cards I made yesterday. I originally designed and made these back in 2012, but I hadn't run out of any of the ingredients so I made some more for this year. Hope you like them x

Wet adhesive for the first time!

When it comes to adhesives, I am a big fan of DST, foam squares and glue dots. I've always shied away from the wet versions in order to avoid sticky fingerprints, warping and overall messiness. (Yes, I'm a bit of a perfectionist!)
As a result, I've always struggled when it comes to sticking down tiny pieces, or really thin pieces, because there really is a limit to how small you can cut those foam squares! So I took the plunge and I got myself a bottle of Glossy Accents- and WOW! I've been missing out! The possibilities are endless...

Having used Glossy Accents, this tiny thin frame isn't going anywhere!

So there's my discovery for today! Yes, I'm sure you can tell I'm very new to this!
Well, I thought I'd enter this card in to the following challenges:
Papertake Weekly buttons or bling
Retro Sketches number 51
Allsorts Challenge things with wings
Simply Create Too mother's day

Thanks for stopping by!
Sashika x

Age Specific Birthday Cards

Hello all. I have had quite a few requests recently for age-specific birthday cards so I have started to make them available on my website.
All of the cards can be customised to any age required.

This one was originally made for a friend's 5 year old son. It makes me giggle every time I look at it! The cute Dinosaur stamp is from the Unity Stamp Company.

Next up is something VERY different! This one took ages to come together, but I loved playing around with all the elements.

Well, that's all for today. Hope you are all well.
Sashika x

Spreading the Word...

Hello all. 3 weeks since my last post. Oh dear, sorry!
Well, here's another one of my recent cards:

My mum bought this one from me to give to my husband! I usually struggle a lot with men's cards, but I really enjoyed making this one.

Also, I've been spreading the word about the 'send directly to the recipient' service available on my website. Be warned, promo coming up!!

Dad's birthday coming up but no time to shop for a card? Away on holiday but don't want to miss a special day? Or maybe you want your Valentine's Day card to be truly anonymous. Whatever the dilemma, here's the solution:
Simply visit www.cardsbysashika.com, select your card, type in your personal message and a date for us to post it by and we will send your card for you with your message handwritten inside. You'll never miss a birthday again!

Please do share and spread the word!
See you soon x
